Annu Raj Singh became the 5th Indian Shooter to bag a place in London Olympics 2012.
Hailing from Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh the 27 year old shooter joined the big league of rifle shooters Ronjan Sodhi, Gagan Narang, Hari Om Singh and Sanjeev Rajput grabbing a quota place for the London Olympics.
Working as an employee with Air India, the 33rd ranked (in World) shooter flew up above the rest of the world by winning her first medal at a World Cup. She won silver at the ISSF World Cup in Fort Benning, USA on 16 May, 2011 in the 10m Air Pistol silver medal.
Earlier she had won the Gold medal at 2010 Commonwealth Games, New Delhi in women’s Pairs 10 metre air pistol with Heena Sidhu.
