Sunrisers Chase of 81 runs
Sunrisers intention was clear to improve their Net Run Rate. Parthiv Patel returned after a long gap and added 33 runs in 4.4 overs with Dhawan (16-ball 22 runs, 4 4s). Ashish Reddy (6 balls 5 runs) was promoted but he fell in 6th over. Patel (18 balls 14 runs, 1 four) joined by Sammy was the next to go reaching 100 run in this current edition, 7th batsman from Hyderabad. In 7 overs they were 43/3 and then Sangakkara realised they are losing wickets too quickly. He joined Sammy and they added 17 runs when Sanga (8 runs, 14 balls) bowed out trying to hit needless boundary of Botha. Hanuman Vihari (9 ball 11 runs, 2 boundaries) and Sammy (20-ball 18 runs, 1 six) took them home by 6 wickets with 37 balls remaining.
