Overall Performance
RR has a positive win loss ratio, making them one of the successful teams of IPL in last four editions. They have Won 46, Lost 38, and two matches were abandoned. Kings XI has a decent overall performance rate. They have 41 wins and 43 losses.

Team Comparison
Kings XI was earlier all about Praveen Kumar and David Hussey. Now with David as captain it is all about Praveen Kumar and David Miller.
KXIP Team Performance
Rajasthan Royals have Watson and Faulkner as the key performers. But they are supported often by other international and more importantly uncapped players. Even Kings XI have some uncapped players taking the attack to opposition, but their main problem is failure of Piyush Chawla.
RR Team Performance

Verdict
These are the two teams of the tournament with good uncapped players. But Royals have been more consistent in batting and bowling whereas Kings XI has been inconsistent and if it was not the special knocks of David Miller they would have lost many more. So it is all about the wicket of Miller and Royals have the arsenal to achieve that to register second win over Kings XI in the season.
