At the age of just 22, she is already the most successful archer from India. Hailing from a Ranchi, she has helped India become a respectable force in the field of Archery.

Born as the eldest daughter in the family of an autorickshaw driver and a nurse, she hails from Ratu Chati village of Ranchi, Jharkhand in India. Her talent was spotted by Seraikela-Kharsawan Archery. With her achievements in Archery, she has been also employed by Tata Steel as manager at Sports department in July 2012. When the world was looking forward to her in 2012, London Olympics saw her ouster early, shocking everyone.

    2010: Bronze medal in the team recurve event of the Asian Games at Guangzhou in China.
    2011: Silver medal in the team recurve event of the 46th World Championships at Turin in Italy
    2011: Silver medal in the individual recurve event of the World Cup Stage III at Ogden in USA.
    2011: Gold medal in the team recurve event of the World Cup Stage IV at Shanghai in China.
    2011: Gold medal in the individual recurve event of the World Youth Archery Competition at Legnika, Poland.
    2012: Gold medal in the individual recurve event of the World Cup Stage II at Antalya, Turkey
    2013: Gold medal in Archery World Cup stage 3 at Medellin.
