Asian Games Day 1: Shooters Jitu Rai and Shweta Open India Acccount

Indians had a mixed outing on Day 1 of Asian Games. Jitu Rai and Shweta won them a Gold and a Bronze today, others failed in medal events. In other games most of the Indians pushed to the next round. In Squash, Women’s Singles guarantees at least a Bronze medal as Deepika and Joshana meet in the Quarterfinals. Weightlifting was a usual disappointment, while Rowers provided some hope.
