Saina Nehwal and Srikanth Kidambi completed second double in the history of Indian Badminton. Both won their respective Singles title in the India Open 2015. For Saina, it was reassertion that World No. 1 ranking was well deserved, while Srikanth showed why Lin Dan considers him the most complete player now. Despite having finalists in three events Denmark could not win a title. Japanese won Women’s Doubles and Chinese won Mixed and Men’s Doubles title.
Playing the finals today, Saina defeated 3rd seed Ratchanok Intanon from Thailand while Srikanth completed a repeat of Swiss Open 2015 where he has defeated the same opponent Viktor Axelsen from Denmark.
Top seed Saina defeated 3rd seed Rachanok 21-16 21-14 in 49 minutes.
2nd seed Srikanth defeated 6th seed Viktor Axelsen 18-21 21-13 21-12 in 55 minutes.
