India Gymnastics Record: 4th Appearance after 52 years in 2016 Olympics

10 Gymnasts have represented India in three Olympics before 2016 Olympics. While Anant Ram is the only Gymnast to have represented India twice in Olympics, and 9 others participated in more than 8 events, the first Indian Woman Gymnast at Olympics, Dipa Karmakar at Rio Olympics appears to be the only time when an Indian Gymnast raises hopes of a memorable performance at Olympics, if not a medal.
