Within a minute in 44th minute, field goal by Ramandeep Singh saw India winning the match and jumping to the top of table ahead of the hosts Malaysia, who play against Japan in the second match of the day.
Indians managed to stay in lead in the fourth quarter and clinch 3-2 win jumping to the top of the group. India has 7 points from 3 matches with 2 wins and a draw (vs Korea).
