Indian Badminton Record: From Bahree to Sai Praneeth India has 18 Super Series Winner

Sai Praneeth became the newest Super Series winner from India. The latest Super Series title was bagged by Srikanth Kidambi who helped India win 7th title at French Open Super Series. At Korea Open 2017, PV Sindhu won her 3rd Super Series after 2nd one at India Open 2017. Sai Praneeth is another Indian Super series winner in 2017. Sindhu became the third woman after Saina Nehwal and Jwala Gutta to win a Super Series title. Srikanth Kidambi equalled record by becoming 4th player to reach three consecutive Super Series finals. Saina Nehwal leads with 13 Super Series title, Indians have won all but four Super Series titles. The first super series win for an Indian came in 1956, as Indians have won in all events except Mixed Doubles. Considering the number of wins, French Open appears to be the best with 7 wins.
