The 2017 Premier Badminton League is set to have a new champion. The big question though is will HS Prannoy first player in the three editions of PBL to win all 7 matches!! He is the only undefeated player till the final winning 6 matches. 2013 winner Awadhe Warriors and 2016 Runners up Mumbai reached all the three semifinals. Chennai did not play the first edition. In their first edition, they reached the semifinals in 2016 and now in 2017 have reached maiden finals. Whoever wins, premier badminton league will get a new champion in third team.

2016 Winner Delhi Acers did not lose any Trump. Chennai Smashers is the only team in 2017 to have not lost a Trump match.
The Group toppers won the tournament in last two editions: Awadhe Warriors in 2013 and Delhi Acers in 2016. 2017 Previous Winners: Hyderabad Hotsthots (2013) and Delhi Acers (2016)

Chennai Smashers are the only team to have defeated Mumbai Rockets at the league stage. In fact they defeated Mumbai Rockets in 2016 also at group stage. But, what is going to happen today!!
