Shooting World Cup: List of Indian Medal Winners

Since 1986, ranked 35th overall with 65 medals at World Cups, Indians have won 20 Gold medals, 26 Silver medals and 29 Bronze medals till 2018 World Cup Finals. 51 of the medals have been won by Indian men (15 Gold, 17 Silver, 20 Bronze), while Indian women have won 3 Gold, 9 Silver and 9 Bronze and two Gold was won by Mixed Team apart from one bronze. Soma Dutta was India’s first medal winner at World Cup, while Mixed Team of Manu Bhaker / Om Prakash Mitharval (10 metre air pistol) is the latest to win Gold (Mexico 2018) after Heena Sidhu and Jeetu Rai won Gold at New Delhi with Silver from Sangram and Bronze from Amanpreet, after Ankur Mittal’s Gold at Mexico. Pooja Ghatkar, Ankur Mittal, Amanpreet Singh and double by Jitu Rai provided multiple medal winners for India at Delhi World Cup in 2017. Check list of winners till August 2018.
