French Open SS 2017: Indians Grab 4 Quarterfinal Berths

Sindhu, Srikanth, HS Prannoy and Men’s Doubles pair of Satwik/Chirag reached the quarterfinals of French Open Super Series 2017. No Indian has crossed quarterfinal for a long time at French Open Super Series after Saina’s 2012 Runners’ up performance. After a good day 1, three Indians lost today in Round 2 including Saina Nehwal. The most remarkable performance of Round 2 came from Men’s Doubles team who knocked out 6th seeds from Denmark and now they face 2nd seeds from Denmark.
