Subhankar Dey was the only Indian representative in Iceland International 2017 and that did not stop India winning a title. Seeded 3rd in Men’s Singles, Subhankar Dey defeated 2nd seed in final before knocking out top seed in the semifinal at the Badminton event in Iceland that concluded on Sunday, Jan 29, starting from Jan 26. This is the third International tournament of 2017 and Indians have won 5th title. Saina won at Malaysian Masters, and today at Syed Modi International, Indians won 3 titles. Iceland International is the third international title for Subhankar Dey, in his 7th final of an International event.
