1954 Asian Games: Indians finish 5th With 13 Medals

Indians finished 5th at Manila Asian Games winning only 13 medals. They won medals only in Athletics and Wrestling. In Athletics they won 5 Gold, 2 Silver and 4 Bronze while in Wrestling they won 2 Silver and a Bronze. In Women’s event, Indians won first Gold medal as India participated only in 4 Sports.
