Chennai, India: In the Davis Cup World Play-offs India Vs Brazil tie, the highest seed Indian Som Devvarman failed to get the equalizer for India. After the defeat of Bopanna in first rubber, India now trails 0-2. Only a miracle can prevent India from being knocked out.
First Rubber: Bopanna Vs Belucci
Somdev, ranked 113th, n current form was expected to get better of Mello, ranked higher than him. In the end of he also sufferred Bopanna’s fate. He fought well for 5 sets, yet could not get the equaliser for India. Mello won 4-6, 6-2, 6-7(3), 6-2, 6-4.
