42nd Chess Olympiad: Daily Result of Indian Men

Indian Men won the first Chess Olympiad medal for India finishing third in 2014 Chess Olympiad. At Baku, they have become the only team to win all 6 matches in the first 6 rounds and have duly reached the top. Round 7 saw a thumping defeat vs USA. Win in Round 8 brings India to 2nd place. Round 9 saw 2nd loss almost ending the medal hope. Draw in penultimate Round 10 made medal hope slimmer. With 2651 rating points, Indian Men’s team 11th best in the Chess Olympiad behind Russia, USA, China, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Poland, England, France, Hungary and Netherlands. Indian team.
