
Finishing another golden week for Indian Badminton in 2017, Indians today won 3 titles and finished Runners up in 3 finals in three different events. With twin titles, Indians conquered another BWF destination as first time Indians won Bulgarian International. Indian U15 Junior Samiya won Women’s Singles, while U19 Vaishnavi finished Runners up at other event. RMV Gurusaidutt won Men’s Singles and pair of Arun George and Sanyam Shukla won Men’s Doubles title at Bulgarian International 2017. Women’s Doubles pair of Sanyam Shukla and Ahillya Harjani finished Runners up. Now, Indians have won 32 titles in 2017.
Bulgarian International Results:
Returning after long Journey, Gurusaidutt won his 3rd International Challenge title. In 2015, he finished Runners up at Bulgarian International.

Men’s Singles: Gurusaidutt def Kurt (Turkey) 21-17 21-16 in 35 minutes
Men’s Doubles: Arun George and Sanyam Shukla def 3rd seed Slovenian pair 21-18 21-13 in 28 minutes
Women’s Doubles: Sanyam Shukla and Ahillya Harjani lost against Austrian pair 21-16 21-5 in 19 minutes.
Badminton Asia U17 & U15 Junior Championships 2017
Samiya Imad Farooqui wins Women’s Singles title in Under-15 category. 3rd seed Samiya defeated Widjaja from Indonesia coming from behind in 56 minutes with a scoreline of 15-21 21-17 21-19. In Semifinals she defeated fellow Indian Aashi Rawat.
Slovak Junior 2017
Top seed Vaishnavi Reddy Jakka lost to 4th seed Chinese Taipei player in Women’s Singles Under 19 to finish Runners up. She lost 21-11 21-11 in 21 minutes.
