Asian Indoor Championship 2017: Indians Win 2 More Gold Medals, overall 12 Medals

On Day 5, Indians concluded Athletics with 2 Gold medals finishing 2nd in the event with 5 Gold Medals. Today, Arpinder and Ajay Kumar won Gold medals for India, while in Cycling Indians opened account with a Silver by Deborah. In Kurash, India had two semifinalists and won two bronze. Indians won 2 Gold medals yesterday after Poornima won their first Gold medal.

Medal Winners

    Gold: 20 year old Ajay Kumar Saroj won the Gold medal in Men’s 1500m at Asian Indoor Championship 2017. India’s 4th Gold. Timing 3:48.67
    Gold: Arpinder Singh in Triple Jump with 16.24m.
    Silver: In Track Cycling Women’s Sprint Deborah Herold won India’s third silver.
    Bronze:
    In Kurash, Women’s +87 Kg Indians had two semifinalists but unfortunately both had to settle for Bronze with defeats. Neha and Jyoti won Bronze medal.
