Asian Jr Boxing: Indians Win 2 Silver, 6 Bronze as Kazakhastan Grab 6 Gold medals

Asian Confederation Junior Boxing Championships in Puerto Princesa concluded with 6 Gold medals won by Kazakhstan, 3 by Uzbekistan and 2 each by Japan and Phillipines. Best Boxer Trophy went to Japan’s Sora Tanaka (66kg). Indians grabbed 2 Silver and 6 Bronze medals.

    Uzbekistan’s Shokhrukh Almatov defeated India’s Satender Singh at the heavyweight (+80kg) Final.
    Kazakhstan’s Sagyndyk Togambay defeated India’s Mohit at the light heavyweight (80kg) Final.
