Badminton World Championships Day 2: 6 Indians Progress, 7 knocked out as Sindhu Starts Campaign on Day 3

Day 2 of Badminton World Championship saw 3 Singles players and 3 Doubles team from India move to next round. Saina and Srikanth started campaign with easy wins while Sai Praneeth got a walkover. Ashwini Ponnappa and Satwiksairaj were the stars winning two matches, their mixed doubles as well as Women’s Doubles (with Sikki Reddy) and Men’s Doubles (with Chirag Shetty), respectively. Satwik and Chirag played the longest match of the day to enter Round 2. Sindhu starts her campaign tomorrow.
