Paris, France: The Women’s Singles saw another big upset when 2nd seed Saina Nehwal was knocked out. Eriko, 10th seed who defeated the top seed in pre-quarterfinal failed to pass the next Chinese barrier of 7th seed Wang Lin.
Danish Tina Baun joined the other 3 Chinese women in the medals round of semifinals.
