Sindhu has been the only medal winner (Bronze) for India in World Championships started since 1977. Today she along with Saina again play the quarterfinal. Both have very tough outing in the Quarterfinal as they meet the top two seeded Chinese duo. Saina takes on Top seed 2013 silver medallist while Sindhu takes on 2nd seed 2011 bronze medallist. For Wang it is a revenge match as Sindhu knocked her in Quarterfinals of the last year World Championships. Sindhu should be more confident though. But then who believed that to be the winner you get an easy outing from quarterfinals!!
