CL T20 2011 Tournament: Most Economic Bowler

Many bowlers bowled one or two spells that turned the match in their team’s favor. But Narine and Badree of T&T were the only bowlers who consistently bowled during the tournaments. Steyn emerged as the second best economic bowler of the tournament, till group stage. All the three bowled 16 overs in 4 matches. Ironically the economy of bowlers from South Australia was the worst, justifying their loss even while dfending huge totals. Check the list for most economic performance for bowlers who bowled 8 overs or more in the tournament.

Badree’s economy of 1.75 Leicestershire during Qualifying round has already equalled the best ecnomoy rate in the Champions League, for a completed spell of 4 overs.

Interestingly the teams of top 5 economic bowlers have been knocked out at group stage.
