Dola Banerjee Profile: 1st Indian Archer to Win World Championship Gold

Dola Banerjee is the first Indian archer to have ever-won a Gold medal in Archery World Championship. She achieved the feat in 2007. Here is a profile of the World Champion Archer from India.

The first-ever Indian archer to win the Gold in World Championships, is the cousin of the Indian singers Shaan and Sagarika. Her younger brother Rahul Banerjee is also an archer and has helped Indian Men’s recurve team win Gold in 4th stage of Archery World Championships 2010 at Shanghai, China.
