2nd Match: MI won by 37 runs at Jaipur
Sachin scored undefeated 89 runs, won player of the match award. Warne again went wicketless with 34/0 in 4 overs.

The Only time Warne could take Tendulkar’s wicket in IPL, although by then Tendulkar has scored 40 runs in 30 balls with 4 boundaries and a six, becoming the highest scorer of MI in the match. His dismissal turned the low scoring match in RR’s favour.
Warne finished the game with a match winning figure of 24/3 from 4 overs and earned player of the Match award.
Warne started bowling from the 5th over. Tendulkar came at number 5, Inn 3 overs of Warne, Tendulkar faced 9 legal deliveries scored 9 runs with a boundary and was finally adjudged leg before wicket on Warne’s ball.
2008 Edition
1st Match Jaipur: RR won by 5 wickets
Tendulkar could score only 30 runs after playing 34 deliveries and was caught and bowled by Trivedi. Warne went for 30 runs in 4 overs taking the wicket of Uthappa.
Tendulkar faced 5 balls in 2 overs of Warne and scored 5 runs.
2nd Match: Tendulkar did not play, and MI won after restricting RR only for 103.
