Weekes was again the most outstanding batsman of the series scoring 716 runs with 3 centuries, including a double century. Worrell also scored a double century. Walcott scored 452 runs with 2 centuries and missed third century by 2 runs.
Umrigar with 560 runs emerged as the leading Indian scorer. He hit 2 centuries and 4 half-centuries. P Roy with 383 runs as second best Indian batsman.
Bowlers
Valentine emerged the most devastating bowler with 28 wickets. King took 17 wickets. Gupte grabbed 27 wickets to emerge as best Indian bowler and second-best bowler of the series.
Allrounder
Mankad with 227 runs and 15 wickets emerged as best allrounder.
Wicketkeeper
Binns could not succeed with bat for West Indies. Indian wicketkeepers P Joshi and E Maka were so ineffective that Vijay Hazare has to be the keeper in the 5th test.
Captains
Hazare scord 193 runs in 11 innings, while his counterpart Stollmeyer scored 344 runs with one century and two half-centuries.
