India won the toss and elected to field. Rain spoiled more than 3 sessions game in first two days. In first two days, WI were bowled out for 204 and India scored 8/0. On third day India batted full day to score 308/6 taking lead of 104 runs. 4th Day saw India folding in a hurry, and West Indies reching 224/6 with the help of Edwards century on debut. 5th day saw WI scoring 322 while India scored 94/3 and settled for a draw.
