Kings XI Punjab have been an easy target for Rajasthan Royals. The record shows Royals have won 8, while Kings have only managed 3 wins. Considering the current teams although Kings XI Punjab have one of the best batting line up, Rajasthan Royals have the bowling to control them. Overall, Royals again hold an edge unless Maxwell and Miller decide otherwise.

Team Comparison
Kings XI have shown they can chase any total. David Miller was exceptional even in 2013 but fought the battle all alone. Now the company of Maxwell and Bailey has made Kings XI very strong. On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals have one of the most destructive batsman of current era as their captain. Shane Watson was the key factor in their title win. Against Sunrisers they showed the maturity to win against one of the best bowling attack. Royals appear more balanced size, and Kings XI is completely dependent on batsmen who can chase any score.
Verdict
With venue being a neutral factor, toss becomes a primary factor. Rajasthan Royals has a good bowling attack, but Kings XI can chase any score. So, if Kings XI bat first, RR has a better chance. Based on team performances, RR certainly holds slight edge.
