Surprising that the team which appeared as one of the first contender for semifinal after first 2 games, appears now just too good to win after 7 matches. Royal Challengers Bangalore is playing with full strength as Gayle joined the team. But they have more losses than wins now as they stand at 4th position at halfway. Their strong unit batting is suffering and the impressive bowling is failing to contain the pressure mounted by their own batting failures. Parthiv Patel in batting, Starc, Aaron and YS Chahal are their consistent performers, while Yuvraj certainly needs a wake up call. Check their complete team, batting and bowling performances.
Summary of Matches

Maddinson (12) failed to convert a good start, and Kohli and Yuvraj fell to Zaheer Khan on duck in the same over as RCB were 17/3 in 4 overs. From there Parthiv (57*) and AB de Villiers (45*) chased the total easily.
3rd Match: Bowlers again did a decent job as KKR was rretricted to 150/7. 5th Match: Gayle was rushed into the team and he started with a blitzkrieg of 7-ball 20 runs. But then others failed. Yuvraj’s (32-ball 35 runs) again did not prove worth as they could score only 124/8, which Kings XI scored in 18.5 overs. Chahal (2/23) and Starc (0/15) fought, but in vain.
