She won first match in Mixed Doubles with Pranaav Chopra and in the Women’s Doubles with 2011 Bronze medal winner Ashwini Ponnappa, who lost her Mixed Doubles match. Satwiksairaj and Chirag lost their both matches as Sindhu, Sai Praneeth and Ajay Jayaram won their first matches. As Sindhu and Mixed Doubles pair has already reached Round 3, 9 matches tomorrow will find Indians vying for Round 3 positions in multiple events.
