World Championships 2018: Saina Creates World Record as India Books 4 Slot in QF

Out of 5 Indians in contention on Day 4, four reached the Quarterfinals. Mixed Doubles team of Satwiksairaj and Ashwini Ponnappa created an upset to enter quarterfinals, while Saina also defeated higher seed to become the 1st woman to reach the quarterfinal of Badminton World Championships 8 consecutive times. Sindhu and Sai Praneeth also progressed.
