World Men’s Chess Championship 2015: India Finish Poor 9th

While Women’s Team surprised all finishing 4th in the World Women’s Team Championship, Indian Men’s Team finished 9th in the World Men’s Chess Championship held at Tsaghkadzor from 18-29 April, 2015. They finished just above Egypt who failed to win any match. The World Team Chess Championship was won by China with 6 wins and 3 draws. China was the only team who did not lost any of the 9 matches. Sine 1985, this was the 10th edition and Indian Men’s have only once won a medal when in 2010 they won a Bronze medal.
