The Little Speedster
The right hand fast bowler from the Carribean’s has reached 150 km/hr many a times. The World Cup hattrick is not the only international level hattrick against his name. In a warm-up game against Pakistan in U 19 World Cup 2006, he claimed his first hattrick.

Debut In Difficult Situation
Roach was included in team to play the international cricket when the first-choice team players of West Indies refused to play due to payment related issues. His first test series (2 tests and 3 ODIs against Bangladesh) saw him emerge as the best West Indies bowler. In his short career besides the 2010 ICC Twenty20 World Cup, he has played test series against Australia, South Africa and Sri Lanka. Despite the series losses against Australia and South Africa, he has emerged as the front line bowler of West Indies team during the series.

Man of the Series
In the drawn series against Sri Lanka, he emerged as the leading wicket taker and was named the Man of the Series.

Fined
Against South Africa he was fined 50% of his match fee, when he repeatedly walked up to Kallis and spoke to him after firing bouncers.

Hattrick
His hattrick against Netherlands in the World Cup 2011 on 288 February, 2011 included the wickets of Seelaar, Loots, and Westdijk. He went on to collect Man of the Match award for the match taking 6 wickets.

Future
Competing against the likes of Taylor, he has established himself as the main bowler of West Indies in all form of cricket. He has got the West Indies out of their worst crisis when senior players boycotted the game. He can lead them to newer heights if all goes well.
