2002/03 Series saw Indians dominating the series with bat and ball both. West Indies were lucky to save the whitewash in the 3-test series. India won 2-0.

Batsmen
Tendulkar with 306 runs was the highest scorer for India. Sehwag (286), Laxman (271) also played useful knocks.
With no batsmen scoring 300-plus runs, 260 by Chanderpaul was the highest. Hinds with 220 runs was the only other batsman to cross 200-mark. Samuels scored century in the only innings he played.

Bowlers
Harbhajan Singh emerged as the best bowler of series with 20 wickets in a series where bowlers managed 50 WI wickets.
WI bowlers saw their worst performance with just 36 wickets. Dillion with 11 wickets emerged as the best bowler.

Captains
Both captins failed. Hooper could not repeat the magic in India and scored only 124 runs. Ganguly failed miserably scoring only 49 runs in 4 innings.

Wicketkeepers
Parthiv Patel could score only 118 runs in 4 innings. Jacobs toiled hard on Indian turf to score 34 runs in 5 innings.
