Ind vs WI 2002 Test Series: Hooper Outplays Indian Fab Four

2002 Series saw the Fab four of India getting outplayed by Hooper, Chanderpaul and Sarwan and India losing the 5-Test series 2-1. Ironically in West Indies batsmen made merry against the bowlers from both sides.

Batsmen
Hooper and Chanderpaul rocked Indians scoring 589 and 562 runs in 7 innings. Sarwan (317), Gayle (206) and Lara (205) were also among the runs.
Laxman (409), Dravid (399), Tendulkar (298) and Ganguly (286) were among the runs.

Bowlers
With WI bowlers taking 70 wickets, Dillon was the best bowler of the series with 23 wickets.
Indian bowlers took 64 wickets. Zaheer with 15 wickets was the pick of Indian team.

Captains
Hooper rules the series with a double century and two more centuries becoming the highest scorer of the series with 589 runs. Ganguly was the 4th highest scorer.

Wicketkeepers
Murray and Jacobs kept wickets. Jacobs scored 193 runs in 3 innings with a century and a half-century. Dasgupta and Ratra kept wickets. Ratra with a century scored 134 runs in 2 innings.
