Australian Cricket Triangular Series: Fact File

Started in 1979-80 after the International Cricket Rebellion, the series has continued till 2008, and launched again in 2012. Commercially it started under Benson & Hedges banner, bringing Carlton and United in 1996, due to anti-tobacco advertising in Australia, became Carlton Series for 2000-01, then VB Series (till 2005-06) before getting its current name Commonwealth Bank Series. The hosts Australia have flourished in the series.
