IPL Match 12 Scorecard: Pollard Bombards, Royals Lose

Rajasthan Royals bowlers were bombarded by the big hitters of Mumbai Indians. Leading the rampage was Pollard with half-century at a strike rate of almost 200. Rajasthan Royals needed huge 198 runs to win at Mumbai. Rahane and then Owais Shah gave a close fight, but Malinga’s double shattered the hope, and Pollard contributed with 4-wicket haul to seal the day, alongwith another 4-wicket haul by Munaf, who earned the Orange Cap becoming the first bowler to reach 10-wickets mark.

Rajasthan Royals failed to win, but brought the game much closer. Dravid has reason to smile in this loss. Without Watson and Hodge his batsmen reached so closer against the best bowling attack of IPL, then they can do much better when Watson joins.
