Pune Warriors put up a high total of 182 runs on board. Considering the batting strength of Royal Challengers on home ground, the target apppeared not so difficult. But disciplined bowling by Warriors almost made it impossible. On the last-ball when 3 runs was needed, Saurabh Tiwary hit a six to seal the tense match.
