London Olympics 2012 Day 11: Mary Assures Medal, Gowda In Final

While Mary Kom assured at least a Bronze medal by reaching semifinal, Vikas Gowda became the 7th Indian to have ever qualified for any Track and Event finals in the history of Olympics. Poonia was the 6th to achieve the feat. With a throw of 60.69m, Vikas Gowda has failed to reach the finals in 2008 Olympics. India will pray for his top 3 finish.

    In Qualification, Gagan and Rajput finished 20th and 26th, respectively in the event where only the top 8 qualified for the final.

Men’s Trap Qualification Round 2 and Final

    Manavjit Singh Sandhu fails to qualify for Final. He finished at 16th position in the event where top 6 qualified for the inal.
