US Open 2012 Final Results: Men Singles

Andy Murray defeated defending champion Djokovic to win his first grand slam in 5 attempts and become the first British man since Fred Perry to win a Grand Slam tournament. Indicentally Perry also won US Open (1936). 4 hours 54 minutes taken by the two friends tied the US open record for longest Men’s Singles final. Djokovic was attempting to win his 6th Grand Slam.
