Asia Cup 2013: India Registers Relaxed Win Over Oman in Opener

India amd Oman inaugurated the Asia Cup 2013. With the ticket to World Cup 2014 guaranteed to the winner, Sardar Singh led team is expected to win the Asia Cup. In 2009 Asia Cup, India failed to cross the Pool stage for the first time, and the easy pool in 2013 guarantees their place to semifinal, alongwith South Korea. India started with 8-0 win over Oman, but the relaxed approach, missed penalty corners, incomplete passes, and tired legs in the second half raises a question mark over their preparation for the cup.
