1962 Football World Cup: Brazil Assert Supremacy, Match Double of Italy

The tournament hosted from 30th May to 17th June 1962 was held at Chile. 16 teams played at 4 venues as Brazil retained its title, becoming only the second country after Italy to achieve the feat, and third country after Uruguay to win two titles. None of the teams could win all the three matches at group stage again, although the topper of all the four groups remained unbeaten with 2 wins and a draw.
