Croatia made their FIFA World Cup debut in 1998. It was one of the most spectacular debut by any nation as they reached rd position on the first attempt. Since then qualified for two more consecutive editions. After failing to qualify for the South Africa World Cup of 2010, they have now qualified for their 4th edition in the Football World Cup.
