2014 Denmark Open QF: Indians Face Tough Task, But Have Better Record

Four Indians play quarterfinal matches today in the Denmark Open 2014. All of them face an uphill task as their opponents are higher ranked. Yet, there is hope as all of them have better record against their higher ranked opponents, except Kashyap. Even he has registered one win against the 3rd seed Denmark player. The day starts with Saina Nehwal and Kashyap will be the last one to play. How many semifinalists can India get today!!

    20:30 Srikanth vs Wan Ho Son (7th seed from Korea)
    22:00 Kashyap vs Jan O Jorgensen (3rd seed from Denmark)

Head-to-Head

    Saina leads Wang 5-3.
    In 2014, Saina won their last match in June and lost another one in March.
    Sindu leads Sung 3-0, winning once in 2012 and twice in 2013.
    Srikanth leads Son 2-1, losing their last match in May. He won in January and also in 2013.
    Kashyap trails Jorgensen 1-4. He won in 2012. In 2014 he lost in January at Malaysian Open.
