Unless Phil Simmons or Rohit Sharma hit a century in the final, nobody else can surpass Warner now. Rahane signed off IPL 8 joining Warner in 500-runs league. AB de Villiers is the third batsman to enter 500-runs league and he still has at least one more match in hand to snatch Orange Cap from Warner.
