Indian History in Japan Open Super Series: One Semis, Some Quarters

Starting from 1984, in 2007 Japan Open became part of the BWF Super Series. While in 2007, no Indians played, till the last 2014 series no Indian has reached the final in any event. Saina Nehwal has the best finish for Indians when she reached 2011 semifinal, while 2013 has been India’s best as team when three members reached quarterfinals of Men’s Singles.
