
Indian Junior Mixed Team finished 8th in the World Junior Mixed Team Championships 2016 held at Bilbao, Spain from November 2-6. In the tournament that had 54 teams, Indian team topped Group G2 placed with Netherlands, Bulgaria and Finland, winning all three matches, and then the Playoff without losing any game. But in the Final 8, they lost Quarterfinals and then both matches for 5-8 place to finish 8th. China won the tournament again defeating Malaysia 3-0 in the final.
