Indian Women’s Hockey in 2016: Two Tournaments Won, 109 Goals Scored in 44 Matches

Indian women completed a historic year establishing themselves as Asian Champions winning two tournaments, qualifying for Olympics and then finishing the year with a record first ever win against the Aussies. They were more busy this year playing a match more than Men’s team. Even the Junior Women had a good year finishing third in Asia Cup.
