Mixed Day for Indians where 4 more joined PV Sindhu in Round 3, while 5 including all doubles team were knocked out. Meeting the expectation the 5 seeds from India: Srikanth, Ajay Jayaram, Sai Praneeth, Saina, Sindhu have reached the pre-quarterfinals with the Mixed Doubles team of Pranaav and Sikki Reddy!! Today’s matches saw a tough fight from Ashwini Ponnapa and Sikki Reddy against the 2nd seeds from Denmark, coming from behind win by Sai Praneeth and a tough set by Tanvi Lad. While yesterday saw Lee Chong Wei knocked out, today the Men’s Doubles top seeds from China were knocked out.
