Cadets World Championship 2017: Anshu Bags Gold, India’s Tally Rise to 8 Medals

Anshu defeated her Japanese Opponent to Win India’s second Gold medal in the 2017 Cadets World Championship. Out of the 8 semifinalists from Indian contingent, Sonam and Anshu reached finals and won Gold medals while 4 won Bronze medals. Indian boys won two Silver medals in Greco Roman. Free Style will see more Indian Boys in action.

Anshu defeated Naomi from Japan 2-0 to win Gold medals of 60 Kg category.

Bronze medals

    Simran won her Bronze medal match 10-0 in 40 Kg category. She defeated Caitlyn of USA.
    Manisha def Ana (Spain) 3-2 in 46 Kg category.
    Minakshi def Mariana 6-2 in 52 Kg Category.

Karuna lost Bronze medal match 4-6 against Wiktoria from Poland.

Men’s Greco Roman: Two Silver

    Silver medals for Sonu (58 KG) and Ashu (69 KG)
    Arshad lost Bronze medal match in 42 KG.

Men’s Free Style

    Sandeep Singh Mann to play Bronze medal match in 85 Kg event.
    Vishal Kaliramana to play Repechage in 69 KG.
    Rahul to play Repechage in 58 KG.
